2-4 PM Packet Pick up at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Rte 188 Southbury, CT 06488 (Exit 16 off Rte 84 Hotel is directly off exit)
Photo ID Required and USA Triathlon membership card if you have one. If you are not a USA Triathlon member, you must purchase a one-day license for $10.

DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE (please carpool if possible): Off Interstate 84: take Exit 15. Go south onto CT Route 67. Take a right at the first traffic light onto Kettletown Road. Continue for approximately 3 miles on Kettletown Road. Take a right onto Georges Hill Road. Park is located on the left approximately 0.6 miles.

Race Day:
6 AM Parking and Transition open Please pick up your timing chip on race morning and get body-marked. You will be competing in your age category as of December 31, 2009 as per USAT Rules. Open bike racking.
7:30 AM Race Start Women, Aqua Bike and Relays, 7:35 Men
8:40 Swim Course Closes
1 PM Bike Course Closes
3 PM Run/Race Course Closes

SWIM: 2-lap counter-clockwise swim takes place in the beautiful waters of Lake Zoar. The course will be marked by 4 buoys. Lifeguards and police boat with Marine officer and diver will be on hand in case of emergency. Swim cut-off is 1:10 minutes from the race start. Water temperature will be measured before the race. Water has been wetsuit legal for the past 2 years.

BIKE: 3-lap rolling bike course traverses the quiet roads of Oxford, Southbury and Seymour. Aid station available at the end of each lap with bottled HEED sports-drink, Crystal Rock Water, Hammer Gels, LaraBars and Bananas as well as a bathroom. Bike cut-off at 1 PM. A support vehicle will be on-site for any on-course emergencies. Please prepare accordingly and carry your own flat-kit. A sag-vehicle will follow the last athlete on course.
Turn-by-turn:
- Exit park and turn RIGHT on Georges Hill Rd
- At stop, turn RIGHT on Maple Tree Hill Rd
- At stop turn LEFT on Good Hill Rd
- Good Hill becomes Bower’s Hill rd (bear left at Stop)
- At stop, continue straight – this is O’Neil rd
- Right on Rte 188
- Follow Rte 188 to roundabout in Seymour, return Rte 188 towards Southbury
- LEFT on Hull’s Hill Rd to Aid Station
- RIGHT on Maple tree Hill Rd
- At stop, turn LEFT to continue on Maple Tree Hill Rd
Continue straight for laps 1,2,3 and then at the end of the 3rd lap, turn RIGHT on Georges Hill Rd then LEFT into Kettletown State Park to return to transition.

RUN: 2-lap run course features beautiful scenery and plenty of shade. Fully stocked aid stations with HEED, Crystal Rock Water, Hammer Gels, Coca Cola, Orange Slices and Cookies every mile. Please note, the aid stations are not ON the mile markers. Portable toilets and real bathrooms (YAY) at start/finish, as well as aid stations.
Turn-by-turn:
Exit transition and run towards park entrance, turn right towards camp-ground and turn-around towards park entrance. Exit park right on Georges Hill Rd, Right on Maple Tree Hill, Right on Jackson Cove Rd to turn around. Return to Kettletown for 2nd Lap.

TOP 3 Male and Female Overall, Top Athena and Clydesdale, Top Relay Team, top Male and Female Aqua-Bike, as well as the top 3 male and female in each USAT Age Category: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 +
